Why it's good. Double-gated, partly shaded beachfront playground, then an easy walk along the beach to brunch right by the sand.

Know before you go. It's an easy route with scooters, bikes or a stroller. Santa Monica Pier is also very close if you want to add more fun, or just finish with some relaxed beach play.
