Why it's good. Breakfast at a welcoming family diner with a kids menu, then a small, fully gated playground less than 2 miles away - an easy outing with little kids.

Know before you go. The playground doesn't have much shade. Room for bikes and scooters, and a bigger park for a stroller walk after.
